Welcome on my ‘roof’.
ROOF gives artists a roof as a stage to tell their stories.
If you follow me on top you will get a beautiful (over)view of our best Belgian artists. A wide landscape of upcoming talents, rising stars or the ones you’re already fond of provide you of an awesome music blend.
Since I am not great at creating powerful sounds myself or reach high with my voice I share my Belgian favourites who can.
I’ll make sure you’ll get your funny, mindblowing stories to digest with some good music, beats and interesting personalities.
2013-09: I start my bachelor in Journalism at Thomas More Mechelen with the specialization in Radio and Online Journalism.
2016 – 02: I do an internship at BILL, a cultural website for youngsters. During these eight weeks I interview different bands and artists and I figure out that I’m really interested in their stories. I also get into concert photography. Which you can check at my Facebook page.

2016-07: I’m photographer at Dour Festival for Radio United.
2016-08: At Maanrock I interview Tout Va Bien, Soul’Art and Protection Patrol Pinkerton for medialab Project Wolf.
I choose to study one more year so I join the Postgraduate Digital Storytelling at KASK in Ghent. I’m already thinking about a vague idea for ROOF. During my classes I get inspired for my own project.
2017-03-01: Yay! ROOF is online!
2017-05: I start my eight weeks internship at the national radio station Studio Brussel. You can not imagine how excited I was. I got the opportunity to do a lot of really cool stuff there, like taking photos of Royal Blood, The War On Drugs and London Grammar. Crazy right?
2017-06: I graduate as a Digital Storyteller. And… ROOF is a topic on the national television news.
2017-08: At the classical music festival Collegium Vocale Crete Senesi in Tuscany I make videos about the masterclass students and their experiences.
2017-09: I’m photographer and videographer for the Belgian singer/songwriter Milo Meskens. I made the behind the scenes movie of the videoclip recordings for his newest single Twenty One and the picture for the cover. A week later I joined Milo on his tour to Vienna.
2017-10: I start freelancing as digital storyteller for the concert hall Ancienne Belgique.
2017-11: I am officially part of rock photographer collective Wannabes. My first big show? Royal Blood at Lotto Arena Antwerp. So exciting!
